Stan Hover Motorsports was founded in 1992 in Fowler,
Ohio, relocating to Salisbury, North Carolina on New Years
day 1997. We have a
12,000 sq.ft. state of the art racing shop, complete with
an in-the-ground set-up plate, fabricating shop, machine
shop, bondo room, paint
booth, shock and spring dyno room, gear, transmission, engine dressing room, parts department, and
offices, situated on twenty two acres in
a beautiful country setting. Near High Rock Lake, in Rowan
County. Stan
Hover Motorsports is a very aggressive, independent team
that competes on the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series. We
currently have five complete racecars and are continually building more.
Some
of the Drivers we have had in the past are Jimmy Horton,
Joe Ruttman, Gary Bradberry, Dave Blaney, Andy Hillenburg,
KirkShelmerdine,
Morgan Sheperd, Carl Long, Tony Ave, Mario Gosselin, Randy
La'joie, Andy Belmont, and others.
To
date our best finish in a race has been 19th twice in the
Daytona 500. Our best finish in the year end points
battle has been in the 2004
racing season. We finished 45th out of 88 teams. Our
average finish is 35.8.
Our Marketing department is
currently pursuing new
sponsors. We feel that with strong sponsorship we can
improve on our standings, and prove to be a valuable venture
for all parties involved. |
